Buddy Aiken began painting houses as a teenager in southern Maine during the 1980’s..
Over the years Buddy worked for many different Maine painting contractors and it is this experience which Buddy believes makes him the painting contractor he is today. By working with several different painting companies in and around York County, Maine, Buddy learned different techniques which he still uses on his Maine painting jobs today.

In 1993, at the age of 27, Buddy Aiken launched Rainbow Painters.He started with a broken down van and some dilapidated wooden ladders. Rainbow Painters soon earned a reputation for delivering high quality painting services in southern Maine, southern New Hampshire and even northern Massachusetts.

Because of Buddy’s experience in buying and rehabbing houses, Rainbow is also able to offer its customers light carpentry expertise including clapboard replacement, drywall repair and trim work.

This year, Buddy’s son Brandon has joined the crew and is following in his Dad’s footsteps with Rainbow Painters.
